Well as any previous visitors will notice this is the new version of my homepage.
As many of you may know I maintain the un-official THUNDER homepages, which can be found through various links from this page. These pages have now been found by the fan club, and and they approved, but it is still unknown as to whether or not I ever try to make them official.
Getting them recognised by the fan club is good enough for me, and for all I know, Thunder fans across the world could now know about them, but as I am currently not in the fan club, who knows....

Oh yeah, did I mention anything about myself ?

For those interested, my name is Nick Blake, I'm 21, and I am currently taking my final year at Portsmouth Uni. The subject I'm studying ?, well Computer Science of course, and as with last year, so far things are not going to plan, but as I write this, they ARE slowly getting better. I'm currently single as well, but a situation has now changed, and I'm back to being a very close friend of Kirsty, my ex
Well, it looks like I survived last year, and what an achievment that was *Grin*, only joking
With last year now firmly behind me, and with all the signing on each week and adding to the ever dropping un-employment figures...

Well, as mentioned already, I'm back at Uni now, so my time at Celab is over. And I must say, that job will be missed, even if it was for only 5 months. In those months, I really enjoyed my time there, and feel the experience gained was extremely useful, and it really helped me to get out of my hole, and back on my feet. It also helped me as a person, and I feel a little better about myself now. I will miss all the people I worked with, but if time allows, I hope to return there over the Christmas holidays.
So hey, maybe things are looking up for me....

Hobbies

Well I have many hobbies, not all of which last long, but of the ones that do, I enjoy collecting CD's....Well collecting is a bit of an understatement, it's more like "God, you could open a shop with that lot!"
I also like going to concerts, although recently this has not been as much as I'd like, but now I'm back at Uni, it is my intention for this to change, as I now live within walking distance of a regular venue, The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth. :(
I enjoy reading the works of Terry Pratchett (Doesn't everyone ?) and collect almost anything to do with his including the Clarecraft figurines, and an avid member of the Collectors Guild. I am also looking forward to the cartoons soon to be shown on Channel 4, starting in May...
I am also a fan of due SOUTH, of which I have almost every episode of this series on video. I am also glad to find out that the series has been revived, although no UK transmission dates have been announced as yet.
I also have a strange hobby in that of spending vast amounts of time creating Cross Stitch Masterpieces, in which examples may or may not appear here in future.....
Oh, and of course, I spend time on Talkers (Whereby I am know as Dkong & sometimes Quoth) ...mainly Surfers & Solent View, where I hold a position on the staff. And once upon a time, I got my own VERY short lived talker up and running known as M275, which may or may not return in the future, most likely the latter, but this does depend on whether I get around to learning "C", as at present I only have a basic knowledge.

Friends

There weren't many of these, but of those that there are, they have stuck by me through times of need (Well most have anyway...those that were there), and the list is slowly growing
Most of the people I class as friends are people I most likely have not met in real life, but they are still true friends.... IRL friends only seem to let you down....but ocasionally they redeme themselves

I have a lot of respect for people who stick with you through the hard times, even if they are only a character on a Talker somewhere in the world....
