New Single & Charity Event

'Play That Funky Music'

Thunder will release a new single, their version of Wild Cherry's 70's disco anthem 'Play The Funky Music', through Eagle Records on June 1st (Release now delayed). As yet, the full format details haven't been confirmed.


Charity Event

Thunder are set to throw themselves from the top of a bridge next month - all in the name of charity.
The Brit crew plan to abseil off the Tyne Bridge on June 7th, in a mega fund-raising effort for the Breathe North branch of the British Lung Foundation.
Anyone wishing to make a donation to the charity in ackowledgement of THunder's stunt should send a cheque/PO, payable to "British Lung Foundation", to :

Thunder are also due to end their current British Tour on June 11th at Sheffield City Hall, which began at Nottingham Rock City on May 11th. Support comes from The Dawn and Redwood. Full details can be found here.
